Friday Feature - A pocket of Posies

Today feature is on the shop called A Pocket of Posies. I discovered this shop when I bought something for myself and I like it for their diversity in products and the fact that she treats hair pins and hair accesories as jewelry. 

Her items are delicate and feminine, she uses design details such as flowers and nature inspired items, handmade glass, cabochon, Swarovski crystal.  The jewelry are vintage inspired, enchanting, whimsical and timeless. The concepts and the colors are fun and vibrant, soft and romantic, bold and elegant. 

She has a lot of items, so here is a selection of a few of my favorites. Feel free to browse her shop for other items.

I love chunky necklaces, so here is a selection of great ones.


For me, this is the ultimate chunkyness, it's a little more busy than what I would usually go for, but I like it. I can see it worn with a solid color top.

I like the position of the gems and the overall look.

This is my favorite. I love the shape, the color, but especially it's softness and delicate nature.

Friday Feature - In search of Gold

A friend of mine suggested that I do a feature on this shop (Thank you T.) as she received a birthday gift from them and she really likes it. I can certainly understand why. Shulis has delicate, fine jewelry made out with 14k gold filled and 16k gold plated items, quality gemstones, beads and unique components. The shop has very good reviews and items look as made with care and attention to detail.

Mint earrings - new fashion

My fashion magazine (which I will not name, so don't ask) says that mint color is trending this season. I am not really sure how to define mint color - I had to think about explaining it, because my husband who is color blind asked me when I proudly announced my recent discovery. For the first few seconds, my only answer was ahhhh - So getting back to mint, I like to define the color as light green blue. It is not as intense as teal, but softer, more delicate. Does it make sense?

Friday Feature - SuJin

SuJin is a jewelry maker from Korea. Her jewelry pieces are minimalist, but also whimsical. I chose this shop for my Friday feature, because I bough two items from her a few weeks ago.

Her shop is humongous, she has more than 1000 items (and I went through all of them). This post includes a selection of a few items that I enjoy.

Teal and soft pink are my go to colors for this season, so I love this necklace as it would go with any outfit. In addition, the leaf is so delicate and you can see the detail even in a picture.

The Tree of Life - I like the name.

This is the item that I bought for myself. Be warned that all items ship from Korea, so it take a while to receive it, unless you are close. She shipped my order really fast, but it still took two weeks to get here.

These earring are my go to casual outfit accessory. They are very delicate and well made.
